New Monaural is a music player app that features a unique monaural playback capability. It enables users to experience natural-sounding music, even when listening to stereo tracks using a single side of headphones.

The monaural mode in this application serves as a stereo to monaural converter, offering a distinct approach by blending the audio channels to mimic the balance perceived by individuals with unilateral hearing loss while listening to music without headphones.

In addition to the special monaural playback function, users can also enjoy regular stereo playback through the app, making it suitable for standard music listening purposes.

When utilizing the New Monaural Mode for special monaural playback, it is recommended to use headphones for a more immersive audio experience delivered through one ear.

• LR Concordance Rate: This feature analyzes stereo song data to indicate how the rate at which identical sounds are played on the left and right channels (LR Concordance Rate) evolves. Users can visually observe the layout of sound localization in recorded tracks.
• Analytics: Users can access genre-specific LR Concordance Rate data submitted by other users.

The special playback functionality is exclusive to locally saved music files meeting specific criteria:

1. The song must be synced with the device via iTunes (e.g., imported from a CD).
2. The song should be purchased on the iTunes Store and downloaded using the standard Music app on iOS.

Notice:

• If utilizing iCloud Music Library, special playback may not be supported due to DRM applied to songs.
• Special playback is not available for songs from Apple Music or cloud-only storage.
• For iTunes Match users with cloud-stored songs, downloading the track via the standard Music app on iOS is necessary before enabling the special playback feature.
